Sadly, in spite of a lot of initial enthusiasm, and posts of support, etc - the idea of a Midi Mart 'Meet' sadly just fell by the wayside to be lost in the bottom of Glenns waste paper basket!
'Arman' (Mike), on this forum, and I are members of another Forum for Yamaha keyboard players (the most active Keyboard Musicians Forum on the net!), and I am organising a 'Meet' of Members on the weekend of 8th and 9th of March, next year. We already (two days after announcing it!), have members from the USA, Denmark and Northern Ireland coming, and there will be a fairly good entertainment package built in.
Its in the early stages of planning yet, but if any Yamaha Keyboard Owners/Players/Giggers are interested you will be welcomed! Please PM me for further details.
Kind regards,
Tony

Thanks Tony,

Hi Pat, If you go to this link, and then in the Forum, go to 'Random Chat' on the Boards, then look for the 'Members Meet' thread, you can check it all out. BTW ! - I am 'Musicmaker' in that Forum! As a Yammie player, you may find that you would like to join the Forum, as well as this one (I belong to about 6 musicians Forums - including Synthzone, PSR Tutorial, SVP, and YPKO. The one that the meet is happening on, is YPKO (a forum of which I am a 'Founder Member' (YPKO = Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner). At the moment, we are re-vamping the site, and from time to time, it will be 'off air' !! You can read all the threads without actually joining (registering), so have a nose around. It is here www.yamahapkowner.com/forum/index.phpKind regards, Tony

Hi Pat (again!!),
Sadly the Forum is off line at the moment, as it is being re-vamped.
I have had a load of calls on Skype fromMembers who can't get it up (They can't get into the forum either!) ;D

The membership are all calling me, either by landlIne, or on Skype, or Email, and I just don't know what has happened. The Owner is nearly always on MSN Messenger or Skype all the time - not there - and also I have left an answerphone message on his home landline - no response! We have over 6,000 members worldwide, with about 200 regularly active -so abig problem.
Will post again when I have any news!
Cheers Pat.

"The site has been down all weekend due to server upgrades (they are adding php5 support), but I hope it will be back to normal sometime Monday"
