I have come across a fantastic piece of software called PSRUTI. this converts other sysex to yamaha XG sysex and removed redundant controllers and also embeds the chords. It can be found at www.heikoplate.de as far as i know it is freeware but can not be sure. try it out and let me know what you think |

Hi Scuzzy,
I have commended this fantastic piece of software before on here, so much you can do with it - even just putting Copyright into your own .mids, and all sorts of stuff -including adding lyrics.
It was programmed by Jorgen Sorensen, for use by Yamaha PSR players, but will do as well for other keyboard generated music.

It's also great for working out the chords for a song from the midi data. (I'm sure I've mention this here before too Tony!!)
