Has anyone used the latest Roland E range? I have been interested in the G70 for some time but the specs of the E80 seem so much better. I am hoping the G70 may come down in price with the new E range now available. I would be interested to know if anyone thinks the E80 is worth the extra cost compared to the G70.

Hi Midi Mike! Having tried out the Roland e-50 and the Roland e-60 I would have to say if the e-80 is any better than amn it must really be something! I am in the process of possibly buying an e-60 to go along with my yamaha psr which I love by the way!If you go to Synth zone.com and click on take me to the bbc you will find alot of info about this keyboard...personally I like the Roland styles better but then I love the Yamaha voices better..anyway the e-60 is selling for about $1999 and the e-80 I heard was going to be around $ 4to5 thousand! Big difference for me!.....for me the new keyboard will either be a psr 900 or the Roland e-60...Best Regards...RickandKaye

Many thanks for the reply. The Roland E-Range is taking time to arrive in the shops here in the UK. The expected price is around £2000 for the E80 so it is similar to the US price.
Regards
Mike
