Howdee Folks!
A good friend on another Forum, Morten Madsen, in Denmark pointed us to the Danish Yamaha Website, in another Forum.
Not 'cross-posting' - but I feel that the many good people in this Forum, who are not members of the other, might like to see this. (link later).
It is a series of Demos - 1 to 6 of a demonstration of the D Deck. I have honestly never seen anyone play an organ/keyboard, as well as this guy - his manual dexterity is amazing, and in all the Videos are just .... well....WOW!!!
If you miss this, you really are missing something really awesome.
There are 6 vids - all as good as each other - although my 'Fave' is Ravels 'Bolero' - people with other tastes may find other demo's more to their liking.
Now - the 'Problems' - which may not be the same for you ! When I clicked on the dem's, my Windows Media Player wouldn't play them as they appear to be in DVD Format. So I downloaded each of them (all about 30Mb!), and then played them in my computers DVD player. I promise you folks it is well worth the trouble. Next problem is that the sound has been recorded with a microphone, rather than from the 'line Out', and the audio quality is not as good as it could be, but still its really OK. What I did after I had watched them was to convert the files to DivX format, creating just one 117Mb File!), and then put all six together - I shall keep them for ever!!!
This guy (Volker Siefert) is good !
Here is the link ... please post with what you think!!!
www.yamaha-arranger.dk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=181&Itemid=2
NOTE !!- There is a space after the 'i' in 'index' and I can't get it to change - its noy there in the draft post - so please amend when it is in your browsers address slot !!!
Kind regards, and enjoy!
Tony
