Midi file compatability question

Hi guys I have a question , "hope you all can help"
I have alot of midis that do not play on my psr 2000, they are a mixture of tracks I have found and purchased. The question I have is I have an old Yamaha psr-630 which plays them fine. Is there a problem with the midi format. I see that there are 2 different formats being format 0 and format 1 Could Someone shed some light how I could get my psr2000 to play these files.
An example of one of the files is the Lorrie Morgan Sammy Kershaw Song He Drinks Tequilla in the A-z midi files menu, which is a cracking track.

What does the manual say ?
What happens when you try to play them ?
There is a tool to change midi format but you need to know what format to change from and too.
