thinking of buying korg triton has anybody got one or mp3 off the keyboard playing midis to here the gm sounds ;D cheers any help would be great

Hi i have a Korg Triton studio Bought it s/h bout a year back .I must say I'm very happy with the sounds and the files sound good live. like most sound modules the gtr sounds are never fantastic. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Eck,
Not knowing how proficient a player you are, and exactly what your needs are, it is hard to comment.
Without doubt, the Yamaha arranger keyboards are a better bet if you want to produce, listen to and sequence .mid files...which can all be done 'on board'.
On stage I use a Yamaha Tyros 2 (costs about 1700 pounds new), but the previous model - the 9000 or 9000 Pro sells on Ebay for about 6-700 pounds, and I use one of these to produce my midi backing files, and to extensively modify existing .mids from this site and around the web.
Awesome sounds (including guitars!) - but perhaps lacking a little in orchestral and drums, but adequate when you know how to 'tweak' them.
