Hi There, Further to a question that i have posted, possibly in the wrong section, when I download the midi files to my keyboard I cannot save them to disc once I have transposed etc. What I get is the following message on my Yamaha psr3000. "This song is a gs song for recording/editing it is converted to the format of this instrument, this song can be saved in the user drive only" The problem is that my user drive is almost full. Any ideas

Hi Shezza
GS is an enhancement to GM developed by the Roland Corporation, so your PSR3000 converts it to the Yamaha XG format
Suggest you move some of the songs from your user drive to smartcard or floppy to free up space on your user drive

why dont you get a 1gb flash usb drive, save all your files there first then put them into your keyboard.that way you will have a back up copy of all your files.have you used a program called psrutil? it is designed for yamaha keyboards and will transform your gs toxg, and i think it will also do it with gm,gs or xg in any way you want it.if you cant find it on the net, drop me a line and i,ll e-mail it to you. oldsage
