Midi Sound Module.

Hi Cat, I have just purchased an Akai EWI4000s and I want to connect it to an
external sound module. I have a Roland GR20 guitar synth and it triggers it OK and the sounds are first class BUT, the sounds are on or off there is no expression low or high as with the Akai itself. Does anyone have any idea's.

I have a friend who is an EWI player. He might be able to help, I don't know. As I don't trigger MIDI with anything other than a keyboard, I don't know much about how an EWI sends velocity data.
All I know about the EWI is that the reed pressure sends pitchbend data and that the EWI also sends breath control data.
