I recently watched a documentry which was trying to analyse why some "hosting" sites show clips of bullying, kids fighting and total lunacy in some cases, i was absolutely livid to find out that the moderators actually let these be shown, they "vet" these clips and think its ok to post. What is the world coming to? We know this has been going on for a while, but before they were saying they had no control over what was posted, pure sickning some of the stuff, i for one won,t be using this site again. I wonder would the moderators show one of their own being bullied? Anyone who watches this c*ap is as bad as the perpetrators!! I,d love someone from this site to come round my house for my opinion on it, id give them something to post!!  |

Hiya Tubbs i agree 100% i think youtube is a complete horlicks of a site.I have a friend who`s little lad was filmed getting hammered in the school playground he was in the middle of a circle and you`d have thought it was all done specifically for this site.The school headmaster said he couldn`t do anything about it as youtube was nothing to do with the school what a cop-out the site may not be but the mobiles used must be.As for `veting` i think it`s a case of if it gets hits let`s use it

Spot on .. this site gives those who have nothing to offer the communities in which they live ..a platform for their sick and disgraceful antics.. it,s their 15 minutes of fame or shame would be more apt ..but there is no shame in them .. they are heroes amongst their crowds .. this is their bagde of honour .. this is not an outlet for frutstrated or misguided youth who we should try and understand ..this is abuse , it is bullies and they are using vunerable children for their kicks .. the moderators of this and other sites should be ashamed ..for it is them who help promote this ...surely Childrens Rights groups the world over should be taking these site to task..

I use YouTube a lot to access old songs etc. that otherwise are lost, its not the site at fault its the idiots that seek out these stupid vids. and also the posters.
The concept behind YouTube is sound, and you cant blame the messenger.

If you were a moderator for youtube larry would you allow these clips to be shown? Of course you would,nt!!
Of course they are at fault for showing them, but they carry on cos they know there are wierdos out there who watch it. i used to watch a lot of old music vids on it but not anymore till they stop these disgraceful images.
Its the old adage is,nt it "does,nt bother me when its not in my back yard".!!!

I only use utube rearly these days. Lot of rubbish on there and to be honest I too feel they, those over the site, could put a stop to such videos being posted.

Its the same guys, whether on video or in song and its time to PROTEST and influence authorities to stop this.
I hoped thhe thread on filth in songs would gather support and build the protest, but alas ! the thread has been stopped. If religion and politics crept into that thread, that particular offending post could have been removed insteading of stopping the thread, which like this thread is IMPORTANT and needs to be addressed.
We could be a formidable Forum if we took up such worthy causes.
I rest my case.
