Yeah, like the title says it all - Who says you cant Sing ?? I saw Tony's thread in "finding lyrics" and he starts by saying " i dont/ cant sing"
I believe if you are a musician .... no matter what.... YOU CAN SING !!! All you need to accept is that each of you has a different distinctive style and voice and you just need to ........ S I N G !!!
If I remember right I think Glenn (MidiMart) also said he cant sing.
Ok guys and gals, lets have a new Members Stage where you "so called can't singers" just get your accompaniment tracks together and sing with it. Just record it in any which way you can and upload them for all of us to hear.
Its okay if you sing Baa Baa Black Sheep or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Just do it YOUR WAY and SING.
I'm serious about this, folks, so lets not have any heehawing from others. I BELIEVE WE ARE GOING TO BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED !!

I Don't sing but my girlfriend Kaye sings and plays her psr yamaha professionally..she would love to send in a midi or something for everyone to hear like you suggestedm but we don't know how to do this..she hasn't even ever recorded anything on her keyboard before! I know she can learn how to record a song but like I said ,we don't know how to send it in..maybe someone on the forum can tell us how?...Thanks in advance to anyone who tells us how to do this...RickandKaye

you never run out of fresh ideas Shyam...thank you for this particular one and the encouragement that goes with it...I never thought of myself as a "good" performer but like what you said we all have different distinctive style and voice and we just need to...sing, I think I have my own version as well and thats what matters most....I'll try to record a song or two from our gig tonight then see where do we go from there ... again thanks for the encouragement...GOD BLESS!!! |

Rick and Kaye, uploading a song is simple . Just go to MidiMart's Upload Portal and follow the instructions therein. However, I think you haven't appreciated what I meant. Yo say Kate sings and YOU DONT !!! Rick, YOU are the guy who needs to sing, so go to you bathroom , right now, scream out Do Re Mi Fa till you like the sound of your voice and play that music of yours and .......sing. You can ask Kaye to accompany you !!! I hope to see that link soon !!!

John, You sounded great.......... now why oh why arent more songs coming in ? Was that recorded live at a gig ? Can actually picture everyone jiving to that. Nice guitar work as usual.
