I guess all of you have heard Hotel California by the Eagles being branded as Anti Christ.
Does anyone have any explanation or can anyone prove it ?
I was told that if the song is "played backwards" the satanic message can be heard.I had a Four Track recorder with me so I played it in the reverse mode and Satan didnt come thro, so I played it through my Pitch shifter which can digitally play it backwards, but I couldnt make out a thing. A lot of unintelligible sounds, but not a recognizable word against Christ.
Does anybody have a logical explanation to this accusation ?

I Do........... URBAN LEGEND!!!!!!! I wouldn't even waste my time and energy trying to figure it out. other atrists that have been accused also are: Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, Queen, Styx, AC/DC, Judas Priest, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Starship, Black Oak Arkansas, Rush, Britney Spears, and Eminem. I really wonder about anyone who spends their time listening to songs being played backwards, don't you?
I used to work in a major recording studio when all this hoo-hah was doing the rounds. For a laugh we actually dropped in a secret message (played backwards of course) in the middle of a song, it became a major radio hit here in Australia. Everytime I hear that song I hear the backward message, which sounds phonetically something like, "Na gurnish nah flegit".
What does it mean? Nothing! It's a joke directed at the backward-record-playing censors.
We were originally going to put in, "Hey, you put this record on upside down!" but it was too un-musical and attracted the attention.
Sorry, I'm sworn to secrecy and the artist is still living, you'll just have to listen out for it!
