This is a bit of a minefield as i understand the legislation when your are gigging in a club your equipment is covered by the clubs insurance when travelling to and from a gig if you have a decent home policy and you have mentioned your equipment then you will be covered if you have an accident
This would be worthwhile checking out you could also check out llyods online they had a special rate for musicians Hope this helps you a little
