hi i was wondering if anyone can shed a little light on the P.Harrison affair?? i think what he has done is a dreadful breach of our trust and i applaud the action taken by Pat may i also add my tuppence worth whilst i really had no dealings with the lad as i understand it he is a young experienced musician but i emphasis young!!!! this is a trend that is prevalent in our business at the minute loyality is short lived !!! those of us that are much longer in the tooth have seen all this before and are not surprised by these actions May i say that i for one have no intention of leaving my little house here on this site and i would ask that all other like minded members should make their feelings known I want to finish by saying this!! That great gentleman Pat has wished him well unfortunately i can`t he has lost my trust and so i say this to him May you have the luck you deserve Weegeo Hi weego, thank you for your public sentiments of support but I'd just like to point out for the record that we, the admin, and staff, of the midimart forum bare no ill will towards anyone who wishes to set up another avenue for midi fans, in fact, we applaud and even encourage such enterprise as in the end all enthusiasts of midi benefit. It is terribly regrettable the circumstances in how it occurred but it's done now and we move forward in the knowledge we all have another place to visit where we can still see old friends and hopefully even make a few new ones along the way! We have no problem with our members visiting and even joining Paul's new forum and will always welcome any members of there to visit and join here also if they wish to. The one thing which is disheartening for us is when we hear that some members over there feel it necessary to post disparaging and hurtful remarks about Midimart and its staff, such behavior is really unnecessary and unhelpful and does little for anyone's benefit. They forget that it is the midimart forum where we all met and got to know each other in the first place! So, please let's not get into any slanging matches over this and instead let's all try to move forward.

Just in case i have been [ as the Animals once said } misunderstood i also applaud new sites starting up and in that i wish everyone well my concern is the way all the snide comments have come out aftewards i for one don`t think that the Mods or the Admins here have done a bad job infact i have found them to be nothing but most helpful in all their responses to me and i`m sure all the membership as well I for one know better than most life is too short and it`s here to be enjoyed so why spoil it now I`m sorry but for me things are black and white only Paul had the respect of the members and more importantly his fellow Mods and he also had the benefit of having all our addy`s and i`m sorry to say this is how he repays us here in Midimart as i`ve said good luck to anyone that has the time to open up and produce a site of the calibre of OUR own site in that i wish them luck the funny thing is you only try and copy the best!!!!! Hope this helps to clear my position

Pat, as things are "kewl" between the two forums now and both you and Paul have met hands, it would be wise to remove this thread to let he good blood flow. Just a suggestion that I'm sure everyone will support.

Shyam, thank you for your advice as always, but this thread does not as far as I can see effect relations in anyway between the two forums so there's no need to remove it But if you can point to something specific I will certainly have a look at it.

In what way weegeo?
Please share your views.
As both myself and pat have agreed on, we are trying to provide a harmonious reasoning between the two sites.
This is not football, or some schoolyard game. This is merely opening avenues to midi enthusiasts everywhere. That was my intention anyway.
As regards "The Best", i personally disagree with your comment, and although i can not speak for Pat, i am quite sure he would share my view for the obvious reason. I am quite sure that there are many many other sites in the 1.9 BILLION domains registered that have equal, if not better quality and service.
However, we are 2 out of those 1.9 billion. (a bit like our place on this world).
Food for thought

I`m not prepared to get into an open slanging match!!! You two guys have put your differences aside thats great i have no problem with that at all,but in this democracy i am entitled to my opinion and i have stated what i think and for me thats the end of the matter
I wish you luck Paul but i hold my views sorry George

Okay everyone, lets put this to bed once and for all shall we, everyone has a right to an opinion, and, no better one than myself to give it! But the hatchet is well and truly buried and as both Pat and Paul have stated, both sites are going to benefit musicians greatly, which at the end of the day Admin. and staff from both sites work towards, helping like-minded people with all issues surrounding music. Onwards and upwards good people!!

Well said tubbs!!!
personally, i am putting this to bed, and hereby recommend that admin lock the thread, as i fear this will be ongoing, with no real end result, only wasted valuable space.
PS: weegeo, in this democracy that we all know, there is simply one rule....
be prepared to back up your comments with valid reasons/points, as avoiding the subject gets you nowhere. as regards an open slanging match...... i am quite sure as adults we can debate without slanging abuse. Of course i can only speak for myself on this matter.
your comment could have opened up a legitimate slanging match by other users that did not feel the same as you do. so i think the lesson learned here is
"closed mouths catch no flies".
My last comment and post regarding this topic.
out to bed, divorced & deleted from my memory. do us all a favour and do the same
