Not much going on lately....
I sent in She's Not There three months ago and it never got onto the midi download list as far as I can see. It only made it into the
member's only forum area. There would be two versions of the song in the main list if mine got added.
After that I wondered how all those songs got into the main list but never wondered hard enough to ask or complain.
Just figured that's how it is.....
Subsequent to that, I did a midi version of Red Skies at Night
by the Fixx. Put it into my BR1600CD using my PSR2100 after
putting it and the vocals onto my BR8. I like the BR8 since it has
individual disk per song-even though it is low tech by today's
standards.
Both songs sound well balanced and I had to do the vocals in
stages since both are a little above my vocal range.
Got most of my questions answered and haven't had to need to post here at Midimart, therefore.
After receiving my 90 days without posting email last night,
I figured I better say something or lose access to the site.
I don't download any of the songs, just listen for fun, so I'm
not one of those greedy downloaders that doesn't contribute,
but maybe I am in someone else's opinion. I hope not.
Worked on call at a trucking dock for the first seven months of
06- had to have the cel phone on and be ready to work one of three shifts every day. Just got a shift bid-late swingshift and
we never know if we have to work 8 or 9 or 10 hours a day.
Hopefully, the bid will last until December like it did last year but
literally, nothing makes sense at that company. Every day they make decisions that are incomprehensible to me.
In their 1970s management minds they think there is nothing new
under the sun and they know all the answers. Oh well, at least
the money is pretty good. In another two years I'll be at full
scale which will put me back where I was three years ago when
severed out of Downcast Cable who likes to get rid of senior employees in favor of rear end kissers and younger easier to
influence mushhead people.
There it is. Posted. I'll keep in touch.
