Is there any search feature, where you can type in a Title or Topic and you can find posts that relate to it.
I've been trying to find an old post for a midi,( kiss me quick) gone through all my old posts, also requests, requests filled and hard to find, but still can't find it, just wondering if there is an easier way to search Jacqui

Jacqui
I use the Search option up in the top menu (near where we access our profiles). It defaults to 7 days (2nd last option from memory), which you can change to whatever. Try 500 days and see what you get (lol). It's also set up to search everything within the forum.
I hope this helps.
regards
Warren

Hi Pat (apologies to Jacqui for hijacking the post), how many days of history can we search (in other words, do you archive at a certain time period), or is everything back until '05 searchable? thanks Warren <\hijack post>

Thanks for the advise, I tried it and it seems to work on some things but not others, for instance, I could not remember if I had Put a request on the site for a certain song, so I tried typing it into the search section, but it never found it, it is there in the Hard To Find Requests Section (Take Me Back To Castlebarr), but it won't find the post for some reason

If it's there it should work Jacqui. The search engine will need the exact spelling originally used when making posts before it will do the trick.
One thing that might have happened is that in the past some old requests, those that were not responded to for a lengthy period, were pruned to make space for new requests. Fortunately we don't do this anymore since we we learned have more space than previously thought.
This may have happened in your case and if so please accept our apologies. You can if you wish re-post the request.
