Hi: I know this stuff probably drives you nuts, but I'm a Newbie to the Forum, and I'd like to know how to send and receive Private Messages to/from Forum Members?
Thank you.

Well, here I am just 10 minutes later, and I found out how to send a Private Message, ha ha ha, but I still need some help in retreiving Private Messages sent to me. Thanks again.

I know, I know, now I'm getting to be a bug right?
Here goes anyway. Now I don't know how to see what Private Messages I sent. Is there also a "sent" file anywhere?
Thanks (one more time).

It's much more efficient and less intrusive to post your questions, requests etc straight to the forum, you're more likely to get a response!

Hi Steptoe, I'm not sure why you're curious about me wanting to send private messages, but since you're a moderator, could it be because I'm breaking this forum's etiquette in some way perhaps?
If so, the reason I wanted to know how to send and receive a private message to other members, is because I recognized a signon name from another forum and wanted to find out if it was the same person. Turns out that it was. And as far as I know, it wasn't an intrusion to the fellow.
There was another that I sent a private message to. Perhaps that fellow filed a complaint about me sending the private message? But all that was about was to ask about a midi he/she posted.
All in all, I shall be more mindful to post comments in the open forum. My apologies if I have been intrusive to someone.

Usually when someone come on to a forum for the first time they are interested in other things. You brought attention to yourself by behaving in an unusual manner. Lighten up and start posting in a proper manner and quit being so secretive and you'll be fine. Merry Christmas.

I must be totally missing the point or something. I didn't think I was being secretive at all. But who knows, maybe you're right. Maybe that's the way it appears. But I assure you that I am a very "light" person with no "secrets".
Merry Christmas to you as well.
