Three weeks ago ,sadly, just 3 days before his 42nd birthday we lost the great Jeff Healey. This blind guitarist will be fondly remembered for hits such as Angel Eyes and for his role alongside Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse.
Heaven must now have all the best gigs. R.I.P Jeff

Hi Bigmike I never heard this news. Very sad indeed a true gentleman and what a legend. His style was unique. I remember I had a partially blind friend who was an outstanding drummer in a rock band . Jeff turned up at one of his college gigs with his band and allowed him to jam with them. One of his fondest memmories. Sad to hear the news must get out a couple of his albums and give them a play. R.I.P Jeff

Hi Bigmike, I was in HMV on Saturday and was able to pick up Jeff's last album.. It's called Mess Of Blues. I must say that I was sitting all day sunday with my foot tapping, I nearly even dusted off my old strat to give it a revival. I have to say if anyone one likes true rock n' roll blues this is a must. It is a great tribute to the man that has died and passed that he leaves a legacy of decades of great music from a number of genres.

What a sad loss,
Jeff Healey was an amazing and very talented musician who overcame obstacles most could not.
He will be missed
