One of Ireland's best-loved singer-songwriters has died from an illness believed to be linked to his years working on Britain's building sites.
Christie Hennessy, 62, died in a London hospice on Tuesday morning.
The Tralee-born artist wrote some of Ireland's best-known folk songs for high-profile musicians such as Christy Moore.

Im shocked Kemo, never knew he was ill, a very talented man indeed, one of his songs "Messenger Boy" is a favourite of mine.
R.I.P. Christie.
