I seem to remember his biggest hit was "Jackson" with Nancy Sinatra but the old memory is not what it used to be. R.I.P. Lee.

I was saddened to hear of his passing at the age of 76. He co-wrote dozens of Duane Eddy hits from the late 50's along with Duane. I'll never forget meeting him and Duane in Gordon Street, Glasgow the morning after Duane's show in the Empire Theatre. I'm sure it was in 1960 or 61. As well as singing along with Nancy Sinatra, he recorded many albums of his own and became a respected singer/songwriter in the USA. Another pop star passes on and I for one will miss him. I bought one of his albums and there was an exceptional tracek called some velvet morning on it Very under rated songwriter
