I think he passed away a couple of years ago. Not many people know of him, he was the lead singer of the group Dragon. He made an album Night and Day, which I happen to have a tape of but have never seen in the shops.
He did, 3 or 4 years ago, what Barry Manilow and all the other crooners are doing today. Making old songs new again.
He died from throat cancer, something I would assume all singers dread.
