I know George Best was never a musical artiste, he probably could not sing (even in the bath), but known all over the world, George was (in my opinion) THE Best footballer ever to play the green turf. He will always be remembered up there with the likes of Pele, Ayrton Senner, Muhammad Ali, Bobby Moore, and thats just to mention a few (there are 100's) of sports personalities throughout the world. This is just to publish my deepest sympathy's for the Best family.

Very sad to see the loss of a true genius.
I remember watching George Best play live on the telly in the early 1970s, witnessing and appreciating the share magic of his artistry with the ball. He was undoubtedly the greatest player ever, something even the legendary Pele admitted.
Deepest condolences to all his family, friends and fans.

Even though George was a bad boy in his day, no-one can take away the skill in the game that he had. I will always remember the time he scored 6 goal's for Man U, a double hat trick....... How many players can claim that one.
Go with my blessing George.

George may not have been a musician but he was one of if not the first sports personalities to live it up alongside some of the greatest pop idols of the day. A truly great sportsman who lost his way due to his fantastic talent & uncontrollable fame. Thanks for the memory George. I'm glad I was lucky enough to see it first hand. Deepest sympathy to all his family. Stivy
