This isn't a joke as such, but it's true and I think it's funny.
My granddaughter recently got her GCSE results and did very well. Consequently, she decided to attend 6th form college here in Blackpool. She's always been really spoilt (and is also very dippy), being run to school and back every day, so her mum was very surprised the other day when her daughter bowled up at home, having been brave and found her own way back, walking.
Next day, mum was going to run her to college but she decided to find her own way on the bus. Half past nine, mum's phone rings.
"Hi mum, it's me...now which side of the road do I stand on to get the bus?"
I swear it's true.
