This is as old as the hills, but it makes me smile.
Sammy Snail is coming out of his favourite pub after having had a skinful. Suddenly he is set upon by a bunch of thug slugs, who kick seven bells out of him and leave him lying battered and bleeding on the pavement. The police are called and ask Sammy if he could identify any of his assailants, to which he replies, "I don't think so...it all happened so fast."
