A bit about myself

most of you in this forum are keyboard players.I can play what i think is C on my roland U-20!!!!
When i'm sequencing a song i use my gr-50 with a backing from band in a box (or several of them to get the monotony out of it)
Lately however I got a really modern piece of gear (well modern to me)
a Yamaha MD4S . Its a 4 track minidisc recorder which i sync to the computer play the midi backing in cakewalk and record rhythm guitar,which is something that is hard to sequence via midi even with a midi guitar!!
I guess ye gotta know yer limitations!!!!

I can almost play a C chord on the keyboards as well,so you're not alone.
I do the same as you but i play the guitar live on top of the midi track.I think there are afew guitar players here,and they're all a very friendly bunch (even the keyboard players)only joking guys!

I have nearly mastered C and hope to soon advance to F, which I hear is quite tricky. At this rate I am sure to be able to play a whole song by the year 2020 ;d

Like Pat, I have mastered C, but have now mastered F as well, once I get a grasp of G, i'm joining Status Quo.
