Hi All, Well as a fairly new member this my first post. At this point I feel like I'm at an 'AA' meeting--- "Hello my name is Dale and I'm a muso. I haven't had a guitar in my hand for about an hour now and I'm starting to suffer withdrawal..Please help me." I feel better now I have confessed.
Well....it was an absolute shock to see the amount of us Aussies as members of this great site.. Thank God we are all musos and don't have to mention how we beat everyone at cricket..(Oops..I mentioned it, But I think I got away with it). As I said before, I'm Dale and I'm from Petrie (Just North of Brisbane in Pine Rivers Shire). I play Guitars, Acoustic and Electric. I sing with 3 women in a group called The Pine Nuts-(I know the name is strange, but you had to be there). I duet with one of them (She sounds exactly like Julie Andrews). The girls like to dress me up and do terrible things to me on stage (Don't go there!) I also do Announcing Work at Agricultural Shows, Rodeos and Corporate Events.. Bugger !! I just realised the time and I have a Guitar and PA System waiting for me.. I'll say bye for now and talk to you all soon.. Yours in 4,8,12 & 16 Bar Dale

Hi Dale...
Good to know a little more about you - are you what they call a Guitar Head? I only have one guitar and it is an air guitar, I can't play anything else except this one particular guitar, it's purple with stars all over it, and it rocks - I've been told I'm not bad on the keyboard though....
Welcome Dale have a great time.

Hi fellow Queenslander. I could just hear that guitar crying out for you all the way over here in Ipswich. Can't work out who suffered the more withdrawals, you or the guitar. Welcome to this wonderful, helpful and super friendly site where everybody is there to help each other. Lyn

Hi Bigmike, Is your brother's name Glen. He has karaoke at Gatton and he is an entertainer as well. I'm actually live closer to Gatton than Dale. This site tends to make one realise just how small the world really is. Lyn
