Hi all... great site ;D ;D ;D My name is Dave, im new to midi files which i know nothing about lol. so i may be asking for your help from time to time. I have a casio keyboard that i can play midi files with. i also play the Mandolin , i hope in time i can help others on this site.

yeh i play mainly Bluegrass style lol..but i will try to play any style realy. i dont play in a band or anything ....hence why im here.... im hoping to learn about midi files so i can use them as my backing....maybe when i get some sort of recording aquipment sorted i let u all hear how i play .....

You won't find a better site for Midi files and Midi Help.

I've just started playing a Mandolin myself - nowhere near your league I'd suggest (playing by ear at present - one day I'll get around to working out some chords ...just have to work out how to tune this thing!!!(lol)).

BUt enough waffling from me - a warm Aussie welcome!!!

Welcome I knew nothing about midi either to start with. Now I am giging with them at reasonably large gigs and even country music festivals. Its not the same as playing with a live band but beats the hell out of not playing and you dont have to pay them or buy them beer
