Hi all ,just joined the group and i must say i'm very impressed. I'm a 50something guitar player/vocalist from Aberdeen,Scotland. Been playing in groups, bands, solo, duos etc. since i first heard Apache by the Shadows in 1960.Also i'm a Beatles nut.I just love the music they wrote and played. At the moment i'm playing in a duo,two guitar/vocalists using midi files for backing, playing everything from the 50's to the scissor sisters. I have had a go at sequencing and i will upload some trax to see what you guys think.Unfortunately ,as i'm sure all you sequencers are aware it is very time consuming and because i'm not a keyboard player it takes me longer than most .I do know where all the notes are on a keybord but i'm not a player. I used to do a Roy Orbison show afew years back which took me to Majorca Spain for a season, but me and the wife got homesick for bonnie Scotland.Hope to hear from you all soon.

Hi, G'day.. See You!! welcome aboard - sounds like a man after my own heart - Roy Orbison show eh - looking forward to hearing some of that!! I'm a guitarist also and have the same issues with sequencing as you - BUT you are on the right site now. (My step dad was an Aberdeen born guy - nice place)

Hi Weeo Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll have great fun with this crazy lot. It's amazing but I've just spent the last hour listening to a song which has a line in in that's a Scottish saying(I think), just can't work out the line, so I thought I'll go on midimart and put it to the board to see if they can work out the phrase for me, and what's the first thing I see 1 more from Scotland, so you may just be able to help me, if I can't work it out. Jacqui
