Hi, Just came across Midimart today - very impressive. I've recently "rediscovered" music after a number of years hiatus. Haven't done much with Midi/MP3 backing, but keen to explore the possibilities. I've pulled my ol' YAMAHA dx7 out from under the bed and am getting ready to "play" (If I can remember just remember the settings - have to go and hunt for a manual ). I'm presently residing in South East Country Queensland - and am looking forward to figuring out how "this stuff" works .

Welcome from me too cptkay0s.
Have yourself a good look around my friend. I've not seen a Yamaha DX7 for years. I brought a DX7 for my daughter back in the 80's, I don't know if she still has it, but it produced good sounds....
Have yourself a great time.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome - friendliest forum group I've encountered to date. I'll have to put my enthusiasm for "rediscovering" my DX7 on hold. (Apparently - sitting under a bed unused for 15+ years isn't too good for the onboard battery) - Awaiting it's return from the repairers - at least I've had time to download and peruse a manual whilst I've been waiting
