Hi. I'm Angela. Last night I sang my own original song to 200,000 people at an outdoor christmas concert in Auckland New Zealand. The concert is televised Sunday night on Network TV here.
The song "Alphabet Rock" made the finals of the UKSC this year. ( I was a runner-up in the same competition last year with another composition "Girl in the Mirror")
Also this year I played "Little Cossette" in Les Miserables, I had a small role in the upcoming Disney Movie "Bridge to Terabithia", co-starred in a 10 episode primetime TV show "Top of the Class" and had three of my songs go through to the third round of the ISC "Lyrics" competition with one making the Semi finals.
I'm 10 years old.
My Dad saw this site and said to join.
My Dad will do the postings. He can't sing, or play anything.
love Angela

Hi I'm Angela's Dad. I have a first name somewhere but folk down here just call me Angela's Dad. She is a remarkably talented and polite young lady, with an angelic voice, in complete contrast to her dad. I could never sing, play an instument, ride a bike, or swim (sounds like a tampon advt). Angela comes up with amazing song concepts and lyrics. Her websites FYI are at www.sonicbids.com/angelasteele and www.garageband.com/angelasteele. Through this wonderful Internet we have teamed up with some talented musicians around the globe who have taken Angela's Lyrics and set them to music. Tommy Allred in Memphis Tennessee wrote the music to "Alphabet Rock", Michail Erola Germany arranged "Deli Llama", Jason Taylor (Canada) "Somebody Somewhere" and Rick McLaughlin (Canada) wrote a brilliant song for Angela called "Please don't go." I myself have never given music much thought since being booted out of Form 1 Music class, (but that's another story) I now find myself thrown headlong into an area of zero expertise and having the resposibility of guiding Angela towards her goals. This forum will be another step in her endeavours. However, I have read several of the sporting threads here and you will certainly be getting my vast experience in that field. And to those regular posters in the Footy Thread "Football" in New Zealand is Rugby. see you over there.. cheers wayne .. oops I mean "Angela's Dad."

Hi Angelia and welcome to the site. I am highly impressed by what you have achieved at such a young age. I am 48 years old and would be frightened to death if I had to sing in front of 200.000 people! Again welcome to the forum. Please take awhile to familiarise yourself with how it all works and if you have any problems we'll be here to help. Oh, yes. a big hello and a huge welcome to your dad too

Hi Angela...... And a great BIG welcome from me too.....
Well a few more years and you will be topping the charts, and I can say - This young lady is a member of our forum.
The last little girl I knew of who made it big all over the world was Lena Zavaroni, and you are sure in this bracket....
Well dad, you don't need talent, you don't need to play, all you have to do is listen to your baby's voice..... Indeed angelic, but I also noticed power there too.... You may have ups and Downs along the way, but take it from me..... Your girl WILL be an international star.....
Welcome to the both of you.

Wayne & Angela'
It truly is a small world. However, sometimes Memphis seems as far away as Tairua! Odd isn't it?
