As for introductions, I am a veteran midi user from the early 80's. DX-7 anyone? Although I am a guitar player mainly, I use midi and computers to assist me in writing and performing as well. I am trying to create a personal database of guitar oriented midi's that you can't find anywhere and post them to a site someday. I live in the mountains and have two retail stores that I own. Midi and guitar playing are now hobbies due to my businesses being my main source of income. I also custom build electric guitars and hope soon to start building custom tube amps. I have been playing guitar for almost 40 years. I quit playing professionally in 2000 but, still love to Rock. I also perform (semi-pro) in a 'non-profit' Big Band Jazz Orchestra. I own close to 30 guitars now (2 acoustic & 28 electric). I have many types of amps both tube and sold-state. I own/use many types of effects and have built my own effects racks in the past, but no longer need to because of all the cool stuff out there. I have a wife, 3 children, 2 step children, 2 grandchildren, 3 dogs and one fussy cat that loves guitars and especially strings. This is a great site and I am glad I found it! FYI, I prefer Roland/Boss musical equipment due to it's reliability, functionality and cost. I also love Orange and Fender tube amps. Thanks banjosaurus ;D

Hey there banjosaurus (I thought they were extinct? you must be the last! lol) welcome to midi mart. Maybe you could put a link to a few of those guitars you build here somewhere, I for one would be interested to see them. All the best for now and I'll see you "round the site" "moonie"

Hi Banjo.... Glad you have found us...
Glad to hear you have a thriving business with the world of music. They say music will never die, but when we get these new up and coming bands - I can believe that. Not so much with the chart scene but with Live acts.
Don't forget to give us a BIG plug in your stores.... Again a Big welcome to you..!!

Hi Banjo and welcome from me too. I have a friend who is still gigging at nearly 70 years old! I myself hope to be able to get another 10 or 15 years out of this before I have to "retire"
