Well I've just figured out how to post,so here we go.I'm 54 can't believe I've gotten so old.But the music keeps me young.I've been a muscian all my life and I'm still lucky enough to be doing it for a living. Not much money in it but what a way to live.I play guitar with my brother who's a keyboard player. We use a drum machine and he plays Bass with his left hand.I'm just amazed with midi files,These at midi mart are by far the best I've heard. We don't use them to perform right now but hopefully in the future we'll give it a try.Someday I hope to be able to create some midi files to share, but for now I can only listen to the talented people who create them here at MidiMart.Thank You for bringing me so much pleasure.

Welcome MollysGrandaddy!
Glad you found the site. It is amazing how time starts accelerating. Would be great if you could post a link in Member Stage to a file of you & your brother performing!

Welcome Mollysgrandaddy
Its terrible how age catches up with us all without us realising it, I think the majority of us are in the same boat.
Look forward to hearing more from you soon, and am so glad you enjoy the forum

A big and warm welcome from me too.
Midimart was - as we all know - especially set up to bring like minded music folk, and those who just love music together and it is great to see such a wide variety of members from all areas of life coming together in this way.

Hi Dad, well if I'd been 2 years older I'd said " Hi m'son" and after all that you are so correct, nothin' keeps you as young as the music you listen too or play. Like yourself I still do it for a living, isn't it great to enjoy your work and how many people can say that!!Nice to here from you and I hope Molly keeps young as well.

Singers and musicians do not age mentally. Only physically. I find when i start my act I am eighteen again. Its only at the end of the night my age catches up with me. Have a great time here! Regards Mark

Welcome to the site, mollysgrandaddy I just turned 58 and am still crankin out the tunes. I don't make a whole lot of money but I love what I do and not too many people can say that about their jobs. Even when the gig is bad its still better than pushing slurpees at the local '7-11'. Civicman
