Hello, my name is Kathleen
I must say, this is a wonderful site. Hopefully the elders of this site will take me under their wings and share their combined experience with me. I am just a Baby in the area of using Midi's on my new Yamaha 505. My Lord has gifted me with a voice to sing His praises however He left out the ability to play an instrument. I am just starting to learn how to use my keyboard with Midi files. I can use all the help I can get!
I look forward to meeting each of you in the months and years to come. You can put a face to my name by going to the Members Photos area to view a photo of myself.

Welcome Kathleen.
If you need help with Midi, you're in the right place. I was a total beginner when I joined the forum, and what knowledge I now have has come solely from the members of Midimart. Any help you need, just ask, we're a very friendly site, and everyone is more than happy to share their knowledge.

Hi Kathleen and welcome to the forum from me also. We are all babes here - no one knows everything, except perhaps Glenn [midimart himself] but only because he's been around since the stone-age ;D ;D If you have any questions just fire away and and one of us will be sure to have an answer - maybe not the one you want but we will try all the same Again welcome to the forum.

Hi Kathleen I often say the Lord gave me the ability to sing unfortunately I inherited the Devils sense of humour. When you can ,send in an mp3. We have not heard any ladys on this site yet and it would be wonderful. I am a tenor and apart from a comic song i sent in. I have yet to send in something a bit more serious. Enjoy your stay with us it is a great family.
Regards
mark

Hi Kathleen.... Welcome to our forum, we have quite a few ladies that are members here and the more the merrier. As for my gift from the Big Boy was not a voice but the ability to sequence and the learning ability of this art. (No solo gigs for me) As Pat and the others have said, if you want to learn, this is the place for you. Just post the questions and we/the members will try to answer them as quickly as possible. Again welcome and prosper......

Hello Kathleen and welcome. So, will we get to hear some of your music in the near future? Weve all been beginners at some stage. Two months ago I knew nothing about midi files - how to get them onto the keyboard, the computer, anything. Thanks to Emerald Midi, I can now get midi files from the internet and put them on my keyboard, or create midi files and put them on MidiMart. I also learned how to put my efforts onto 4shared...all thanks to the good people on this forum. Take care Bri
