another "hello" from new zealand

Hi all,I have been in New Zealand now for about 4 years, gigging mainly in and around Auckland.
Previous to that i lived and worked in London for about 5 years,playing the pub and club circuit, alot of fun and met some great people!!
Previous to THAT i lived and worked in Brisbane Australia, where we emigrated to from Holland when I was a kid.
Started of my career working(singing) in bands like Poetic Licence and Silent Passenger in Australia, moved on to duos like "a right pair" to working solo for the last 12 years.
I have used a couple of the mp3 files of this site at gigs recently, copy them onto minidisc (get right levels etc.)
I run an Acoustics Technologies 1000w stereo system which has done me well for the last 12 years, certainly a well travelled p.a.!! and versatile for any venue (tiny pubs in London to the bigger clubs etc. plenty of guts, nice bottem end for punch..thanks Harry

Hi Frank (or is it Harry) and welcome. I was just reading your post and it struck me, it's funny how many of us go from working in bands and gradually work down until we are on our own. I went down that route, but eventually found it very lonely, plus I got ill, so I gave it up. Now I just enjoy making music in the spare bedroom. (Not that I'm trying to get you on a downer).
