Just a quick intro, I have been in the music scene for about 30 years. Played in bands duos and have been a solo act. At the moment I am in a duo where we both use voiceworks harmonisers to add 3rd harmonies to each others leads. Specialising in 60/70s music. We get a lot of work from Rock'N'Roll Hops, working mens clubs and RSA's {RSL} Running 2 systems on stage stereo system for midis and mono PA system for vocals. a lot of gear to lug around but the resulting sound quality is well worth the effort. I am intending to move to Australia in Feb 2007.

Thanks,I've been a lurking member for awhile. I have not had much time on my hands to contribute. I had the weekend off and am going thru some of your midi requests and posting. I have quite a large collection of midis but my filling system is non existant, and the search function on XP is a bit dicey.

Welcome to the forum from your friend accross the Tasman. Thanks again for the file and still sorry about the Trevor Chappell 'underarm'.
Interesting PA set-up. May I ask why you are using 2 PA's instead of 1 for both vocals and backing?

One is stereo for my backing tracks. I have a speaker on each side at the rear of the stage and pan all instruments. I have a mono set up for vocals front of house. I found running 2 systems is more controlable re volume and overall balance also stops vocal/ instrument clash. If anything claps out I have instant back up. What part of Melbourne do you live? I was in Highett for a few years.

I guess having a back-up PA is a bonus........I live at the base of the Dandenongs in the Ferntree Gully area. My PA was made in Highett by Park Audio or ARX as they're now known. It is a small world hey.
