Hi Everyone,
I'm a musician living in the Vancouver, B.C., Canada area. I do a single act using backing tracks in both midi and mp3 formats. My main forte is Elvis and Roy Orbison. I'm constantly looking for good Roy Orbison backing tracks but they are hard to find. I was hoping that this site might have some. I'm especially looking for "Its Over". I can't find it anywhere. Seeing as I am new to this site I'll just have to feel my way around and see if anybody needs a certain backing track that I might have. Well I will be looking at all the threads to see if I can contribute anything.

Hi Mazdaman,
May I be the first to say "welcome". Like you I recently joined the forum. I have only been able to find one midi file of "It's Over" by the Big O and, as it's a number I don't do, I've never had the ocassion to try to produce one myself. Have a look at ynucc.yeungnam.ac.kr/~bwlee/roymidi.htm It's not a very good version but you may be able to improve on it using Cakewalk or a similar programme. Good luck,

Welcome to our little community here at the forum. It's good to know that members use both midi & mp3, I was beginning to think I was wasting my time producing these......

As for the big "O", I know what you mean, quality files are like rocking horse poo!!! This is one reason that this site has developed. We only (or try to) use the best quality. There are many quality Roy Orbison files on our main site... www.midimart.net/pages/midi/rrr.html
