Gidday everyone from Britain's largest outdoor prison-Australia! I am now located in Queensland, and have been a semi professional entertainer most of my life. Was in a band in the 60's that had a top ten hit in Aussie called "Rockin' Robin." (A Rockin' rehash of the original Bobby Day Hit) Two years ago, I decided to get into creating MIDI backing files for my entertaining. Discovered your site about 6 months ago. Fabulous! Your MIDI backing tracks are great. I must be honest though, and tell you that sometimes I do "edit" them a bit in a Midi Editor, but mainly on the volume levels of the individual instruments, which I think is really to balance them out a bit with the gear I have, speakers etc? I occasionally might sneak an extra instrument in, but mainly they are really excellent on their own. It was absolutely refreshing to find someone on the Net like MIDI MART who are unselfish with their MIDI music! Your free MP3's are also terrific, and once again - many thanks! Cheers from Downunder.

Gidday duggles Welcome from me too, we are pleased to have you aboard and hope we have many posts together. The midi files are there for you to operate on, pull them to bits re-build them add sounds or take away sounds. We provide them for you to edit and tailor them to your needs. Yes I agree that different files players offer different volume and velocity settings and one player is different to another. Feel free to amend them. However on saying this we do ask you to keep all copyright and text in the midi files as they are and not alter these. Have a great time on the forum, anything we can help with - feel free to ask away.
