Hi I joined this forum about a month ago, and I am glad that I did. The whole site is superb. I saw that someone from South Wales had registered and thought " Cant be outdone by someone from down there" (Only Joking.) I live in the beautiful North Wales Hills, where the natives are friendly and the sheep are nervous. Glad to read so many people talking about their mothers in law. I speak to mine regularly, fortunately its through a medium.
Look forward to meeting new friends through this forum, and sharing music and ideas for years to come. Speak to you all again soon Geraint

Welcome, Geraint.
Great to have you here with us. I just love the mother in law joke. Heck, even my mother in law loves it! True......
Nice to see Wales being represented so well on the forum.

I use to know a Geraint from Wales but he moves to New Zeland back in 1985/6. Is this you?
Welcome to the forum.

Leo Afraid not, I've moved about all over the UK over the years, but never ventured as far as New Zealand, but my youngest daughter is moving out there next month.

Hello Geraint. Welcome to the forum. If your youngest daughter is about ready to move out to Australia you must be ancient

Hi Sarah Thanks for that, just what I wanted to hear. I did start my family very young though. I may be getting on a bit, but I'm gigging nearly every night, and at least I dont need any help in buying a new van.
Seriously though, they say that you are as old as you feel, and I must say that when I've finished loading all my gear in and out of a venue, I feel about 101.
I used to have roadies years ago, and perhaps its time to dig into my pockets and start paying for them again.
Thanks again for the reminder Geraint
