Hi members, Ive been trying to get hold of the Yamaha SYXG50 for some time now, Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Also is there a SYXG100 and is that better. Cheers Hi Trout, Yes, there was an SYXG100 that had support for VL instruments too. But here's the sad news: www.thewhippinpost.co.uk/midi/xg/yamaha-syxg-softsynth-dead.htm of course you may still be able to find someone with a copy and the updates needed to run it on XP. Yamaha seem to have pulled all their XG material off the Internet. You can still find product manuals on their Japanese web site but all specs. etc. seem to have disappeared without trace. Unless that is anyone knows different. Best regards, JohnG.

I have a trial version that I downloaded to use on my son's old laptop, but I haven't tried it because I haven't had the lappie yet. Let me have your email address if you want it.
