hi freeway just a thought, have you tried looking on e, bay for a midi player, as i myself have got quite a lot of musical stuff from there at reasonable price,s hope this help,s rgd,s Tiny ;D

havent found a UK stockist & I assume the rrp on that site is in Aussie dollars?
THomann`s price puts it right in there with anything else that does the job. OIne thing, can you combine mp3 and MIDI file playback simpultaneously or is it jsut one or the other?

Yes you can combine midi and mp3 in a playlist it will play them one after the other
