hi glenn and all management.i have been putting a page together on box.net ,with all my medley,s on it.around 50 or so.i was going to put a link on the forum so all could access them and download what they want.only you nave put the kaibosh on it now that you have made midi downloads subscription for membership.would it still be allowed? or would it be a no no!!! or non or nada!.just a thought! these box sites are free and give you 1gb of storage and free public access to 1 or all files, you could host your entire collection of midi,s with download access for free!would this save you some dosh!.put a link on the forum or main site, and away you go steve

Dunno about how anyone else feels but why not? I'd like to see/hear 'em! All 50 + of them. No idea why you weren't replied to either! I think the forum's just too big to keep track of all the messages and threads. Cat >^..^<

I have no problem you putting up a ling to these files, but be sure they are not MidiMart, Copyright or Commercial files....
If you put up a link, there would be no problem on the download front as members files are not linked with MidiMart files.... Only those sent direct.

I don't think I understand your explaination. Links to files off the MIDIMart site & server are OK as long as they aren't Pro files or copyrighted files or files you sequenced and have up on MIDIMart? Cat >^..^<

what glenn is trying to say.... (breaks out the gregorys.....) as long as the files contained on oldsage's link did not originate from midimart, are pro or copyrighted files, then it's cool.
as the midimart files would also be available to non subscribing members (EG: the whole of the internet)
it's a fair point IMHO
