As many of you know, I am a copyright reformist, but quite inactive in the fight now. I was a former MRA ( Music Relief Association) Director and former MRA Newsletter writer/editor. Once the Sonny Bono act was passed I think most of us just caved in and pretty much gave up. Seems you just can't get enough of the public to stand up and fight companies like Disney, who manage to get copyrights extended every time thier work is coming close to falling into the public domain.
Seems people want music and art to come into the public domain faster but few are willing to take the time to call or write to their governmental leaders.

love the way you think cat.it is just a pity more didn,t think the same way.dont these big wigs ever think, that if they keep killing off all midi sites and music produced by midis, that no one will hear the music that they greedily hang on to because nobody will be around to play it.musicians will just stop playing.the words bite the hands that feed you spring to mind.they coul n,t afford the free advertising they get by these midi files or mp3,s or musicians playing give them. they must be all idiots! steve
