Hi Everyone. I'm quite sure none of you have experienced this !! It can only happen to us !!! My Duo plays every Friday in a Restaurant where there's a large, half enclosed terrace and an adjoining room where there are tables too, a wooden dance floor and a resident DJ . There was a private party in the room tonight and it was mayhem !! We had a packed crowd where we were playing and lots of good requests, but we just couldnt play. We couldn't hear ourselves think, leave alone play !!!! The DJ thumped the cacophony through the night and we just had to stop our music and get off. It was a terible night and our guests were disappointed that their requests could not be played. I have a system as powerful as the DJs but thats not what this is about !! Pumping up our volumes could not only give our guests a headache. Have any of you suffered such a predicament ??

Your crowd should have complained to the management. Its not up to you to do anything about it. Just take the money and smile.

Shyam I agree with thingyy (now he's an Aussie, he's an agreeable sort-a-chap . Poor planning and coordination on behalf of the Restaurant management, nothing you can do about it. Regards Warren
