Can anyone advise on which is the best (and easiest) method of inserting lyrics into a Midi File to create a .kar file.
Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks

Hi there geraint. that is a good site that emerald has given you. Embedding the lyrics is the hardest part of creating a midi file. There is no easy route, it is a matter of trial and experience, one important piece of advice to remember is, make sure your track 4 is finished correctly as even the slightest change to any one note apart from changing the pitch will throw the whole of the lyrics out .

hi Geraint I've tried lots of programs to embed lyrics and by far the easiest and most idiot proof program is Serenade. www.1manband.nl/serenade/Costs about 10US or around £5-£6. Worthwhile. Just paste in the text to a box, start the midi and tap the Ctrl key to move along the text and sync with midi. Best Wishes Jimmy G
