hi! i,m using a casio at the minute, but i want to go back to a yamaha, can anybody tell me which one to get? i was looking at the psr1500 which looks and sounds great.the only trouble is the man in the shop says they will be bringing a new one out soon.i,m not sure whether he means they are discontinuing the 1500 i dont know what the prices are as he didn,t have any prices up,and was too busy to oblige me with answers.i am moving to new milton soon which is a stones throw from christchurch,so there should be more shops.i want to spend approx £500-600 and i want the mod wheel and pitch wheel, and if poss a 8-16 track recorder and if poss special effects, like echo, and delay, but not essential.i know i,m a bit picky but i know what i would like.a cross between my keyboard and my behringer keyboard/controller,would be nice

Hi Oldsage, being a yamaha player myself For the money you would like to spend Id reccomend the psr2100, or the 3000. The 3000 still retails at around £1000 but with the release of the PSR-S900 at the end of the month you could see a decline in the RRP. With the psr2100 it has all the specifications that you require. Have a look at the specs here www.reviewcentre.com/reviews62331.html

Hi Oldsage...kemo is right, in that the prices on the 3000 should drop quite a bit with the introduction of the S900 series. There's also a new S500 which is already in the UK stores now, and I believe it sells for under 500 pounds. Have a look at that one too....
