Hi Kemo!
I've never heard of it. It's likely a stripped down version of Tyros II; much in the way the PSR3000 was the Tyros I copy with a few bells and whistles missing. Can you provide the link so we can see it. Thanks..........Lee

Thanks Kieran!
I shall check it out. I was so glad that Yamaha produced the PSR3000 for us Tyros I wanna be's. It was missing a few things but wasn't detrimental to my stage work. Now I have Tyros II and love it. Regards...........Lee

Nope...it's not yet on the market here in the UK. I've been waiting patiently, as I plan on getting one myself. I've read a lot about it, talked to dealers, and now know that the S900 is a combination of T2 and upgraded 3000. Some people will love it, and some won't, but it all still boils down to personal choice. It's NOT a 'wannabe' instrument, as it has a few things on it that are specific to the S900. But, comparisons will be made, I'm sure, as we all like to think that our personal keyboard choice is the best.
Will post more thoughts on the S900 when mine finally gets here!!!

Hi Playmates, Yesterday we got a new PSR S900 to add to our PSR 9000 Pro and DX 7. This keyboard rocks! It is a slightly cut down version of the Tyros 2 (But with improved articulated voices!), 24 extra Styles to the Tyros's ones, and a host of new features. It is about a cross between the 3000 (which it replaces), and the Tyros 2. It has built in speakers of excellent quality (12 X 12 Watts RMS), with 'Line outs' for external Amps. The USB port takes thumb drives, and will record in .wav up to 80 minutes of music, which can be then transferred into the computer to change to Mp3. Only criticism I have is that the keyboard has more of a 'synth' feel to it rather than a 'weighted piano action' that I prefer, and that the music stand is rather flimsy for gigging. Here is a link to a sample of what this beast can do !!! www.4shared.com/file/20196986/de937fb2/New_Keybd.htmlNow the good news .... RRP is 1350 pounds, but I can get them at 950 !! Wow!!! Kind regards, Tony
