well today is the first meet for us Northerners we,ll get a few pics and post them asap ..still waiting from word from weegeo heres hoping he shows up at the meet today ..and belle ya have me number giz a buzz ..allthe best fir nigh cubb Hope it all goes well for you lads. the photas will follow later ..but i have ta say ..if every meet was like todays we would be havin them on a daily basis ..it was magic .. i even got somebody to cover my gig at short notice ..the two boys playing at the bar were spot on ..jimmy , jamesy , jim , (as he like to be known ) is a gentleman and his sidekick ( lol ) sharon is a lady , they put me back on the drink ..another midi martian
( thanks shyam ) gerry was also there and a good time was had by all .. the band had to tell us to be quiet ..Jimmy G has the photas there is,nt many cos we were havin a ball ..all the best fir nigh ..more reports when we sober up ..lol
and as Van Morrison said
wuddin it be grate if it was like this all the time..

Like to thank Cubb & Gerry for a great afternoon. It's now 01:25am and I've just surfaced. Sharon's downstairs taking in some liquid refreshment (H2O). She's a nurse, so she's got an early start at the RVH, around 07:30.
Like to thank Gordon McAllister and Rab McCullough for their afternoons entertainment, which actually is a sorry understatement. The two guys are so accomplished in their field of music, I think it makes the rest of us feel like an apology.
They done an amazing 2 hour acoustic blues set.
Such was the craic, time just flew by, so once again I'd like to thank Cubb and Gerry for a great afternoon. I'm sure we will do this again in the future and I will try to upload some of the photo shoots as soon as I can.
