Or even try switching to a different product (such as Foxit - which is also free). I know Adobe 6 had some slow loading issues; it was better with 7.

When I try to update my Adobe It will not finalize because it cannot remove the old Adobe 7.0.8 And when I try to manually remove the program I get the following message. Adobe Patch Package Could Not Be opened!!!!!!!! H--E--L--P

Hi Shezza, I had similar problems with Adobe which has become very bloated and hungry for system resources. Try Foxit reader (a freebie) from www.foxitsoftware.com and you'll never go back... it's quick, simple and downloads and displays pdf in a fraction of the time. Cheers, Dave. PS: If you can't get Windows to uninstall Adobe you may need to grab a freeware uninstaller (like Easyclean) from one of the download sites.
