Hi Paul,
Can you help me get rid of this FaaSt thing that keeps "bugging" me ? I know for sure it slows down my PC, cos the moment I remove it with SpyBot, things are better.
Any advice . please !!
By the way, I have AdAware, SpyBot, AVG Free and Trojan Remover and I regularly clean up my PC.

do u have diskeeper installed???
as this is part of Diskeeper's software.
have you tried a msconfig???

What ecactly is msconfig ? How do I get about doing this ?

I dont think my OS is genuine and may be pirated. I got the PC from a company that assembles PCs as per our requirements and I feel I dont have the original OS, though things have been going smoothly for the last 3 years.
I got a MS XP Home Edition and have been meaning to install it but all the hassles of saving stuff and formatting etc etc has been putting it of . I'll do it someday.
Till then can I continue with what I've got ? Will the msconfig have to be done on msdos ? I have no clue about msdos.
Do advise please
