I've just added my vote to the "Other" - you also forgot South Africa - the Rainbow Nation - AND host to the next football world cup in 2010 (hopefully!)
Having said that - I've lived here for 30 years, but I'll still be supporting England in the Cricket world cup (and South Africa, unless they're playing England). I reckon that Kevin Pietersen is SA's finest export.
I'm also the only person in my office that watches the 6 Nations. The rest are all Super 14 fans.

I think you turn right at England. It's just after the roundabout...

I can well understand Murph getting frustrated at "Spain falling off the map". But even that wouldn't help me since I'm here in the Canary Islands. The Canarian people don't even acknowledge Spain! I'll just have to tick "other", although it does leave a feeling of isolation. Mind you, stuck out here in the Atlantic, I suppose that's correct! Cheers, Rossi

Nice place to be isolated in though. Isn't Spanish the main lingo in the Canaries ?

Thingyy, Don't say that to one of the natives! The locals speak their own bit of Spanish, very lazy Spanish. I suppose you could say they've just adapted it to their own needs...like listening to a Geordie or Scouser chatting to some one speaking the Queens English. You can always tell a mainland Spaniard from a Canarian by their speech. Rossi

Born in the UK Now living in France, which is a great country to play in. Musicians are considered artits here. You turn up for a gig they give you a drink, dont let you play until you have had a proper meal. Very often they provide hotel accomodation as well.
They apreciate what you do, even if you do sing in English
They also pay better than gigs in the UK
