I was a lot happier on my 50th than my 40th, it depends what's happening in your life, apart from that it's just a number (ok, maybe a few more creaky bones, lol).

Thank you all for your good wishes. Reaching the big 50 mark has not been easy, what with one problem or other along the way, but at least it has prepared me for the next 50 years! ;d ;d Last night the wife and I, along with some family and friends went out to a small little Chinese restaurant and we had a great meal and a bit of craic. By the way, my wife, Michelle gave me the perfect birthday present - yesterday morning, the morning of my birthday, she passed her driving test! This was on her first attempt, too  |
